This story relates how Hosea has three children, a son
called Jezreel, a daughter Lo-Ruhamah and another son
Lo-Ammi. All the names are described in the text as
having symbolic meaning, reflecting the relationship
between God and Israel . Jezreel is named after the valley
of that name . Lo-Ruhamah is named to denote the ruined
condition of the kingdom of Israel and Lo-Ammi is named
in token of God's rejection of his people. Although the
latter two children are not specifically said to be Hosea's,
James Mays says that this is "hardly an implication" of
Gomer's adultery. In 3:1, however, it says that she is
"loved by another man and is an adulteress". Hosea
is told to buy her back, and he does so for 15 shekels and
a quantity of barley. Exodus 21:32 establishes the value of
a maidservant at 30 shekels so Gomer's value is
diminished. She is not mentioned again in the book.
Some analysts, following Felix Ernst Peiser, have
suggested that this marriage is really a figurative or
prophetic reference to a union between the " lost tribes of
Israel " with the people of Gomer, following the Assyrian
    deportation.
The relationship between Hosea and Gomer has been
posited to be a parallel to the relationship between God
and Israel. Even though Gomer runs away from Hosea
and sleeps with another man, he loves her anyway and
forgives her. Likewise, even though the people of Israel
worshiped other gods, God continued to love them and
did not abandon his covenant with them.
According to Kirsten Abbott, feminist interpretation
regards the story of Hosea and his relations with his wife
Gomer as a metaphor for the conflict between a Covenant
Theology (Israel violating the covenant relationship with
YHWH) and a Creation Theology (YHWH will undo the
fertility of the earth in response to Israel following other
    fertility gods).

    6a)
Jesus said to him, "I don't tell you until seven times, but, until seventy times seven. Therefore the Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who wanted to reconcile accounts with his servants. When he had begun to reconcile, one was brought to him who owed himten thousand talents. But because he couldn't pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, with his wife, his children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. The servant therefore fell down and knelt before him, saying, 'Lord, have patience with me, and I will repay you all!' The lord of that servant, being moved with compassion, released him, and forgave him the debt.

"But that servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, who owed himone hundred denarii, and he grabbed him, and took him by the throat, saying, 'Pay me what you owe!'"So his fellow servant fell down at his feet and begged him, saying, 'Have patience with me, and I will repay you!' He would not, but went and cast him into prison, until he should pay back that which was due. So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were exceedingly sorry, and came and told to their lord all that was done. Then his lord called him in, and said to him, 'You wicked servant! I forgave you all that debt, because you begged me. Shouldn't you also have had mercy on your fellow servant, even as I had mercy on you?' His lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, until he should pay all that was due to him. So my heavenly Father will also do to you, if you don't each forgive your brother from your hearts for his misdeeds.

    6b)
i)so that their sins may be forgiven in heaven
ii)so that they may enter the kingdom of the lord Jesus christ
iii)so that our prayer may be answers also

    Highlight jame's teaching on prayer

    James teaches on prayer

In his teachings on effective prayer, James taught that if anybody lacks wisdom, that person must ask God who gives it generously without reproaching.
James taught that whoever asked from God must ask in faith, not doubting because a person who doubts is like the wave of the sea, that is, driven and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord.
James also taught that if anyone was suffering, that person should pray and if any was cheerful that person should sing praises.
He said if any was sick, that person should call the elders of the church to pray over him, to anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord and the prayer of faith would save him. He said the Lord will raise the person up and if he or she had committed any sins, the Lord will forgive the sin.
James told the members to confess their sins to one another and pray for them to be healed.
James taught that the prayers of a righteous man has power and is effective. For example, he said the Prophet Elijah was a righteous man whose prayers were effective. He said Elijah was a man just like men of today but he prayed that the rains should cease for three years six months and it was so. When he prayed again for rain, it came pouring on the earth, bring back life

    8b)
    i)By praying without ceasing.
    ii)By praying with humility.
    iii)By praying with faith.

    6)

The Quran is the Book of God, revealed to the Prophet of Islam in the first quarter of the seventh century. The Quran is not a mysterious blessing; it is a book of wisdom. In the chapter entitled Sad (Sad), the Quran says of itself: "This is a blessed Book which We sent down to you [Muhammad], for people to ponder over its messages, and for those with understanding to take heed" (38:29). The Quran is, indeed, a book of wisdom, which gives us each detail of the divine scheme along with all those principles that are required for successful living on this earth. In short, the Quran is a book of guidance for mankind. It is, moreover, a simple book, which is easily understandable to anyone who has even the most rudimentary knowledge of Arab. But all the things it has to offer can be discovered only through contemplation. It is contemplation, or tadabbur, that opens the doors of the Quranic treasure of knowledge. Then the Quran is marked by the most perfect clarity, but that does not mean that you can understand the Quran without pondering over it. In fact there are two layers of Quranic learning: one, its literal meaning and the second is its deeper meaning. If you want to know the message of the Quran in a simple manner, then knowing its literal meaning will suffice. Its literal meaning will introduce you to the basic, practical advice offered by the Quran. This kind of knowledge is quite enough for the common people who are not of a scholastic bent of mind. Then there is the deeper side of Quranic meaning. This can be comprehended only after an in-depth study of the scriptures. The Quran is evidently a book of guidance in all spheres of life

    2)
    – Transition, which is most significantly for early Muslims, to the phase in which Islam was not only the act of worship, but a way of life. This was encompassing (surrounding) politics, economy, social interactions and every other aspect of life. This was the first time when Islam was looked upon as a comprehensive religion.
    – Transition from a position where Muslims represented a small group of people, surrounded by enemies and threatened by death, to the position of a regional power with a strong central leadership. This was one that was surrounded by a large number of followers and allies.
    – Transition from being a simple Islamic group of believers, to being the Islamic nation. This was an organized Islamic state, with a central leadership and other organizations.
Transition of Da’wah from regionalism, in which the focus was only on Quraysh and the tribes surrounding Makkah, to the phase of universalism. This is where the Muslim State began reaching out to Persia, Egypt, and the Byzantine Empire.
    – Transition from the position of weakness, where the non-believers of Makkah – particularly the people of Quraysh- humiliated, tortured and killed Muslims, to the position of security. This is where Muslims were allowed to defend themselves and were able to defeat their adversaries.
    – Transition from spreading Islam through individual Da’wah (inviting others to Islam) to the spreading of Islam through institutionalized Da’wah, initiated the state.
